Students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for a 2011 BBB Torch Awards scholarship:
- a member of the graduating class of 2012 or 2013
- attends an accredited high school in San Diego or Imperial County
- resides in San Diego or Imperial County

The Importance of Ethics and Integrity in our Community
|

| RULES: |
|
Write an essay no longer than 400 words about the importance of ethics and integrity in our community. Discuss your viewpoints and give examples, as applicable. You may want to discuss how marketplace ethics involves integrity and civility in our community. An independent panel of judges will evaluate the essays using the following criteria:
- inclusion of personal viewpoints and/or examples (5 points);
- relevance to the theme (5 points);
- readability and clarity (5 points);
- spelling and grammar (5 points)
